A Golden Girl Remembered

This was a great articleremembering the life of Rue McClanahan, the US actress who played the lively Southern belle Blanche in the popular series, The Golden Girls.
The article offers two great gold party themes and O2P had to share them with our Golden Blog followers!
First, a gold party with “The Golden Girls” theme would be absolutely fantastic.
Just “Picture it,” you and your best girls sitting around the kitchen table, eating cheesecake, discussing everyone’s latest life troubles while selling your unwanted gold to O2P.
For even more fun, your guests could dress up in their best Golden Girl costume! Wigs, thick glasses and muumuus…this gold party would truly be a memorable experience!
Next, Rue McClanahan a.k.a. Blanche wrote a memoir entitled My First Five Husbands… And The Ones Who Got Away. I am sure every girl can relate and this would make a great gold party theme too!
If Rue were here today we think she would host a gold party and would make some serious cash from selling all those wedding bands she collected over the years!
